We recognize that we cannot know the pain and frustration Black folks feel. We have not lived your experiences.

We, as the producers and executive board of FLAME Conference, commit:

To listening and learning.

To being open to feedback.

To doing the work and doing better.

To standing with you.

To amplifying the voices of Black folks.

This is a difficult time for the Black folks in our community. We see you. We hear you. We will not stand by and do nothing.
